Virgo - Remnants mp3 album
Chugging rhythms, gamelan-esque synth patterns, gently fluttering atmospherics, and liquified beats refresh the memories of Black Dog, B12, the Clear label, old Kirk DeGiorgio, et al. But it's all done in the unique way that innovative Japanese artists made their own back in the day, the spatial drift of Detroit techno soul glimpsed through shimmering curtains of zen-like ping and post-Blade Runner tableau. Like the first Virgo, an unheralded classic. Reply Notify me 1 Helpful.

Remnants of Expansion by Krypts, released 28 October 2016 1. Arrow of Entropy 2. The Withering Titan 3. Remnants of Expansion 4. Entrailed to the Breaking Wheel 5. Transfixed Three years may have passed since ‘Unending Degradation’ but KRYPTS have lost none of their excruciating power that made their debut album such a special one, erecting a bridge in between their homeland glorious and downtuned early 90’s glory and something even more sinister and doom- ladden. Once again adorned with Timo Ketola cryptic artwork, ‘Remnants of Expansion’ is like a big haunted house at a top of a dead trees infested hill on the outskirts of town by a moonless night.
With Remnants, established country singer LeeAnn Rimes completely leaves the country genre behind and embraces adult contemporar. aybe. Truth be told, the album is a confusing mish-mash of genres. Rimes moves from power ballads to adult contemporary to a more folk music sound to soft coffeeshop acoustics from song to song. Gospel choirs, fuzzy guitars, and loud drums provide backing on almost every song, whether the song is set in a genre lending itself to gospel choirs or not.
