In Copenhagen was originally issued on CD by Storyville in 1996 under the title Solo-Duo. There are no extra cuts and the featured players are Kenny Drew with alternate bassists Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen or Bo Stief. The recordings on this disc were made between 1966 and 1983. The recordings with Ørsted Pedersen took place in 1966, the Drew solos in 1978, and with Stief in 1983; there are four cuts in each segment. The music is rewarding in that Drew never stopped growing as a lyric improviser, but the differences in style between the two bassists is a bit jarring
