With Potemkin City Limits, the band continues on this darker path, and has again managed to surpass even themselves to deliver one of the best albums of the year in this genre or any other. As many will point out, it has been almost five years since this band has released an album, but listening to Potemkin City Limits it becomes abundantly clear that the intervening years has not seen Propagandhi willing to end their pledge to "whine and kick & scream, until everyone has everything they need. and with this album, like each that proceeded it

Regardless of whether or not the state of the world would had improved since their 2000 record, it's almost certain that Propagandhi would have found something to rally against for their fourth studio album. But the mid-2000s were very far from perfect, and with all of the era's questionable politics and injustices, it's no wonder Potemkin City Limits finds Propagandhi as outraged as ever.
Album: Potemkin City Limits. Duration: 41:29 Year: 2005 ? Propagandhi albums.
Musically, Potemkin City Limits is put together very well and their best album to date. All the songs flow very nicely and it is full of great riffs that will make you question if Chris Hannah can really play them and sing at the same time (specifically around the 1:54 mark in America’s Army ). Moving onto the rhythm section, Todd’s bass lines are well written and sound great with the tone he has going. Overall, this album is perfect. It combines the older, more punk rock style with the newer, and more thrash/metal side of Propagandhi. They’ve definitely stepped it up a notch since Today’s Empires, Tomorrow’s Ashes.
