The Band - Rock Of Ages Volume 2 mp3 album

Rock of Ages: The Band in Concert is a live album by the Band, released in 1972. It was compiled from recordings made during their series of shows at the Academy of Music in New York City, from December 28 through December 31, 1971. It peaked at on the Billboard 200 chart, and was certified a gold record by the RIAA. An expanded release of recordings taken from the same series of shows, called Live at the Academy of Music 1971, was released in 2013.
Gospel Bluegrass Homecoming Volume 2. Bill & Gloria Gaither. Besides performing solo and with his wife, Gaither has appeared as part of the Bill Gaither Trio, the Gaither Vocal Band, and as a part of his "Homecoming" groups. Gloria Gaither (b. March 4, 1942) is a songwriter for gospel music, along with her husband, Bill Gaither. She also sang in the Bill Gaither Trio, one of the most influential groups in recent Christian music. William J. Gaither (born March 28, 1936) is an American singer and songwriter of southern gospel and Contemporary Christian music.
Released on the heels of the stilted, static Cahoots, the double-album Rock of Ages occupies a curious yet important place in Band history. Recorded at a spectacular New Years Eve 1971 gig, the show and album were intended to be a farewell of sorts before the Band took an extended break in 1972, but it turned.

Probably the album should have first been issued as 2 CDs, but this would have made the two CD set very pricey (witness the 2 CD issue for the greatest hits of The Doors).
When the Queen II album came out in '74, those who heard it were impressed & spiritually uplifted. Also on that session was engineer Mike Stone, yet another highly talented sound man who’d learnt his trade at Abbey Road, sitting in on The Beatles’ Beatles For Sale album and more recently.
