Keiji Haino (灰野 敬二 Haino Keiji; born May 3, 1952) is a Japanese musician and singer-songwriter whose work has included rock, free improvisation, noise music, percussion, psychedelic music, minimalism and drone music. He has been active since the 1970s and continues to record regularly and in new styles. Haino's initial artistic outlet was theatre, inspired by the radical writings of Antonin Artaud.

In 2011, Boris released three albums: New Album, their first major release with a major producer on AVEX/Tearbridge label, Heavy Rocks a sequel to the album with the same name, and Attention Please. The latter two albums were released on the label Sargent House In 2017, the band's 25th anniversary, they considered retirement after one final album. During their career, Boris has collaborated with various artists of different musical genres, including Merzbow, Sunn O))), Keiji Haino and Ian Astbury .
Over the decades, Haino has played with Merzbow several times. This session date marks the very first time he has played with Pándi, but it doesn't sound like it. Yeah, this is a hell-of-a-noise freewheeling skronk and scree session, but that's not all.
