Motörhead - The Birthday Party mp3 album

The Birthday Party is a 1985 live video by Motörhead. It features the band's 10th anniversary show at the Hammersmith Odeon in London, England. During the performance of "Motörhead" the band were joined onstage by all of the past members (with the exception of Larry Wallis), and Thin Lizzy bassist Phil Lynott. Lemmy - bass guitar, vocals. Phil Campbell - guitar.

Motörhead is the self-titled debut studio album by the band Motörhead, released on 21 August 1977, on Chiswick Records, one of the first for the label. It is officially regarded as the band's debut album, though an album was recorded in 1975 for United Artists which was shelved, and was only released in 1979 after the band had established themselves commercially

Motörhead are typically classified as Rock N Roll by Lemmy and band members, and their fusion of punk rock into the genre helped to pioneer speed metal and thrash metal. Their lyrics typically covered such topics as war, good versus evil, abuse of power, promiscuous sex, substance abuse, and, most famously, gambling. Past members: Matt Sorum (touring drummer, 2009) Tommy Aldrige (In studio recording most of the 'March Or Die' album, 1992) Michael "Wurzel" Burston (guitar, 1984-95) Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor (drums, 1975-84, 1987-92) Pete Gill (drums, 1984-87) Brian Robertson (guitar, 1982-83) "Fast" Eddie Clarke (guitar, 1976-82) Larry Wallis (guitar, 1975-76) Lucas Fox (drums, 1975).

Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor.

Party till you puke up your liver. 86%. hells unicorn, June 13th, 2010. Opinions vary, but as far as I’m concerned the greatest era of Motorhead was with the Campbell/Wurzel dual guitar era of the mid 80s to mid 90s, with their climax being at around the time Orgasmatron came out. In the midst of this glorious era, several live concerts were recorded, or which this is one of the better to get released to the masses.

Overkill, Motörhead's first album for Bronze, was released in the spring of 1979. The album peaked at number 24, while its title track became the band's first Top 40 hit. Motörhead continued to gain momentum, as their concerts were selling well and Bomber, the follow-up to Overkill, reached number 12 upon its fall release. The band was doing so well that UA released the rejected album at the end of the year as On Parole. Two years later, the band signed to WTG and released The Birthday Party. Taylor briefly rejoined the band in 1991, appearing on that year's 1916, before Mikkey Dee, formerly of King Diamond, took over on drums. Dee's first album with the band was 1992's March or Die, which didn't chart in the . but played to their .
