Paul & Paula (Ray Hildebrand, born December 21, 1940, and Jill Jackson, born May 20, 1942) were an American pop singing duo, best known for their 1963 million selling No. 1 hit record, "Hey Paula". Hildebrand was born in Joshua, Texas, and Jackson in McCamey, Texas.

Hey Paula" by Paul and Paula was the nimber 1 hit song on February 10, 1963. The song, Hey Paula, was composed by Ray Hildebrand and performed by Hildebrand and Jill Smith, both students at the time (1963) in Howard Payne College in Brownwood, Texas. The names on the record and their act were changed to Paul and Paula by the record company for marketing continuity.
