Sinkadus - Sinkadus mp3 album

Although Sinkadus existed first, their first album came along after "Hybris" and "Epilog. It is highly likely that nglagrd did have an influence on their sound. SINKADUS Videos (YouTube and more). This second (and halas the last one) album from Sinkadus doesn't sound more regressive than they fellow countrymen nglagrd. Their source of inspiration were the same (Crimson, Genesis both in their early, early days) and the way they reproduced the music is just excellent. It is true that Sinkadus music sounds a bit easier to approach, which is even better to my ears.

Reviews about Sinkadus - Sinkadus (1):
Hono
This is the true original of Aurum Nostrum. Musically, it's much the same, although you can notice some subtle difference. Apparently Sinkadus made this cassette in hopes some record label would be interested in them. Turns out the UK label Cyclops were interested in them, but the band decided to rerecord it, release it as Aurum Nostrum and have the more familiar cover artwork. Luckily this original cassette didn't die, it lived on as the second CD of Live at Progfest '97 called Aurum Nostrum 1. I was lucky to acquire the cassette and definitely has that home made look, at least the artwork (although the cassette itself is clear and more professional looking).
