Various - Unreleased - Sounds Of Community mp3 album
Sounds Of Liberation was a band – and a social movement – formed in 1970 out of the Germantown & Mt Airy neighborhoods of Philadelphia. The band consisted of seven members: Khan Jamal (vibraphone), Byard Lancaster (alto saxophone), Billy Mills (bass), Dwight James (drums), Monnette Sudler (guitar), Omar Hill (percussion), William Brister (percussionist, aka Rashid Salim). Jamal and Lancaster would work together in different configurations throughout the decade. Sounds of Liberation were at the forefront of avant-garde Black expression in the early 1970s, putting action behind their creative endeavors. They were as much of a community force as a band, and because of that there was a strong desire by the entire group to work with a range of different populations, from school children to inmates. They continued to do so throughout the mid-1970s.
Radiohead's first album, Pablo Honey (1993), preceded by their breakthrough single "Creep", features a sound reminiscent of alternative rock bands such as the Pixies and Nirvana. The Bends (1995) marked a move toward "anthemic rock", with more cryptic lyrics about social and global topics, and elements of Britpop . The Amazing Sounds of Orgy". Non-album single B-side to "Pyramid Song" (CD1). Nigel Godrich Radiohead.

The appropriately titled Artifact: The Unreleased Album will be issued on Feb. 16 and includes 10 songs that the group recorded in 1969. The Choir never released an album in their lifetime, but collections of some of their music have come out on various sets over the years. The band's 1969 lineup included only Bonfanti from the original quartet, and the tracks they recorded were never released. This lineup also included keyboardist and singer Phil Giallombardo – a founding member of the James Gang, which would later include future Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh – along with Denny Carleton, who later played with the punk band the Pagans. You can see the track listing for the album below. I went to see the Choir when I was 16, and immediately wanted to join their band," Carmen writes in the liner notes to Artifact: The Unreleased Album. They were a great group that had many lives and many members.
