Hammer Of Doubt Drawing from the sacred texts of the Cro-Mags, Vio-lence,Leeway, Exodus, and Nuclear Assault, Texas savages Power Trip have unleashed their debut album with Southern Lord. They leave in their wake a multitude of crushed generic and feeble contemporaries. bowzilla666 This band releases nothing but bangers. My only gripe is that I didn't hear Power Trip sooner.

Manifest Decimation is the debut album by American thrash metal band Power Trip. It was released in June 11, 2013 through Southern Lord Recordings. The album is a precursor to Nightmare Logic, which launched them to stardom with their brand of old school thrash metal. The album was produced, engineered, mixed, and mastered by Arthur Rizk (with guitars and vocals done in Austin, Texas by Daniel Schmuck).

Before Manifest Decimation, Power Trip were one of those groups people said you needed to see live to understand. This isn't to take away from the EPs and singles they released before this LP, because they contained good songs. It's just that they were still eclipsed by frontman Riley Gale and company's whirling dervish stage presence

Produced by Arthur Rizk. Album Manifest Decimation. Manifest Decimation Lyrics. Under the boot of great oppression we slither and crawl On the path for annihilation but in the name of god? Manifest Decimation, we stumble and fall Manifest Decimation, to suppress us all Under the boot of great oppression, a dark figure conquers us Manifest Decimation, when all hope is crushed Crushed. About Manifest Decimation.

Power Trip's debut album Manifest Decimation has dropped more jaws than the clumsiest forensic examiner in the precinct. With the energy and subtlety of a runaway freight train, Power Trip rocked the world of NWOTM, giving us a timely reminder that Razor and Solstice existed, and their theory of might makes right should be upheld.

Reviews about Power Trip - Manifest Decimation (5):
Music and packaging is all great. The sound is less so. I compared it to my CD in Audacity and the vinyl's cut both look and sound a lot like the CD to me. It's alright but audiophiles should beware.
That's actually my DR measure. The only difference I can see between my CD and vinyl in Audacity is minimal. The vinyl audio still looks like a flat brickwall, as if you'd put the CD master onto a vinyl record and ripped it. Only quieter. I could be wrong about it though, but it certainly doesn't look (or sound) like a properly cut vinyl mastering.

does anyone know pressing info for a transparent dark green version? i bought it from Headfirst! Records likely in 2013.

This is Power Trips first full length LP, prior to this release was the release of Power Trips questionably best material; Armageddon Blues in my opinion Manifest Decimation does not live up to par to Armageddon Blues. In my opinion the vocals in Manifest were not as loud or "powerful" as Armageddon. The instrumentals were classic Power Trip like always. Pounding drums, and fast, aggressive, guitars. Fantastic musicianship is not a surprise when it comes to these guys. My favorite track on the album is The Hammer of Doubt which was on another release of Power Trips but this song was redone and the production on the track was much better than the prior release. Overall the album was a very good release and made Power Trip much more popular in the scene of metal/hardcore.
