Buddy Guy's music has changed a great deal since this album was recorded in Chicago in 1981. Nor was he the only one on fire at the sessions. The recording makes no attempt to capture a wide audience. Rarely is the blues this heartfelt - and rarer still is it so well played.

George "Buddy" Guy (born July 30, 1936) is an American blues guitarist and singer. He is an exponent of Chicago blues and has influenced eminent guitarists including Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Keith Richards, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Beck, Gary Clark Jr. and John Mayer. In the 1960s, Guy played with Muddy Waters as a house guitarist at Chess Records and began a musical partnership with the harmonica player Junior Wells.

Buddy's little brother, Phil Guy, was on the second guitar again. Drummer Ray "Killer" Allison was also playing in the band for years, but there were two new members Releases. The original release includes only seven tracks. 10-track LP was released in 1991 by Music Box International in Greece. Rarely is the blues this heartfelt – and rarer still is it so well played Original vinyl track listing.

is a great album and one of the best Blues Brothers albums it also is great that they did highlights for "Green Onions", "Sweet Home Chicago", "Messin' With The Kid" and "Flip, Flop & Fly" and one last thing the thing that made this a good album was original Blues artists singing their best songs and The Blues Brothers's song highlights.
