Eric Clapton / Otis Rush - Pure Blues - Live At Montreux mp3 album

Blues is a blues rock compilation album by Eric Clapton released in 1999. The release features songs from Clapton's 1970s RSO albums, as well as some unreleased material from the same era. The second disc features live recordings. Before You Accuse Me (Take a Look at Yourself)" (Ellas McDaniel) – 4:39 (Previously unreleased acoustic outtake from Backless, 1978). Mean Old World" (Walter Jacobs) – 3:50 (Outtake from Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, 1970). Ain't That Lovin' You" (Jimmy Reed) – 5:26.

Guitar, Vocals – Eric Clapton, Otis Rush. Live In Montreux, Switzerland on July 10, 1986 total time: 59:40. Track 1 is misspelled as "Cross This Town". Correct is "Crosscut Saw", as released . on Montreux '86 or Otis Rush & Friends - Live At Montreux 1986 from the same concert. Packaged in a jewel case with 4-page booklet.

The CD features nearly an hour-and-a-half of performances of Rush classics, including "All Your Love (I Miss Loving)", "Double Trouble" and many more. Recorded at the Montreux Blues and Jazz festival in 1986 this CD is packed wall to wall with extraordinary feeling and great playing from all the musicians present on the stage. It appears immediately evident from the first note of the first track that Otis Rush was in a great form that night, and his singing and guitar playing is simply superb through out the entire concert. Otis Rush, Eric Clapton, and Luther Allison all on the same album ? Are you kidding ? Not the best Otis Rush "live" album (that title goes to Live in San Francisco" from 1997, which is great), but very good.

with Eric Clapton (guitar)). 9. Every Day I Have The Blues. with Eric Clapton (guitar) and Luther Allison (guitar)).
