Possum Dixon (1989-1999) was an American alternative rock band. For the better part of their 10 year existence, the Los Angeles based quartet etched and sustained an imprint on the 1990s alternative rock and roll scene. Fronted by ssist Rob Zabrecky, literate songs about love lost and slacker life in Los Angeles and a penchant for unpredictable performances set them apart from the herd of other rock and roll hopefuls.
Possum Dixon are truly one of the most underrated bands of the 90's. There's some SERIOUS talent here! It's a shame that many great bands just seem to either get over-looked or, they get a moment of attention but are quickly forgotten, et. .In any case, this group is definitely one that did - and does - deserve attention ;) And, keep in mind, "Star Maps" (1996) was their 2nd album
