Pink Floyd have been known to perform and/or record a number of songs and instrumentals which have never been officially released on a single or album. Only those whose existence can be reliably confirmed are listed here. Bootleg recordings of the majority of below listed songs exist. Several previously unreleased songs appeared on The Early Years 1965–1972 box set in November 2016, which marked their first official release.

The discography of Pink Floyd, a British progressive rock band, consists of fifteen studio albums, three live albums, nine compilation albums, four box sets, five extended plays, and twenty-seven singles. Formed in 1965, Pink Floyd initially earned recognition for their psychedelic or space rock music, and, as they evolved, for their progressive rock music. They are known for philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, innovative cover art, and elaborate live shows.

Pink Floyd would have been a perfect match for the visually oriented era of Pinterest and Tumblr had the band emerged today. Nowhere is the power of Pink Floyd’s visual appeal more apparent than the cover for the album The Dark Side of the Moon, released 44 years ago. The Dark Side of the Moon is not only one of the greatest albums ever made, its cover became an visual icon for Pink Floyd itself - a quiet, mysterious team of four musicians who let their music and visual stories speak for them. For its ability to create mystery and intrigue for four decades, The Dark Side of the Moon joins my hall of fame of memorable album covers

Pink Floyd's "The Wall" remains the bestselling double album of all time. A new documentary, "Roger Waters The Wall," charts the story of the landmark recording and that of its key creator. Breaking down walls: Pink Floyd's story comes to cinemas. The story of Pink Floyd. British musician George Rogers Waters was one of the founders of Pink Floyd. Studying architecture in London, Waters got to know Nick Mason and Rick Wright in 1964. They founded the cover band Sigma 6, later changing the name to The Tea Set. In 1965, Syd Barrett changed it yet again to the Pink Floyd Sound - named after blues musicians Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. This photo captures Waters (22), Mason (22), Barrett (21) and Wright (21) in March 1967 in London. New decade, new sound.

Pink Floyd‘s eternally popular song cycle has sold more than 15 million copies in the . since its release on March 1st, 1973, and more than 45 million units worldwide. As Waters told Rolling Stone in 2011, Dark Side was the first that was genuinely thematic and genuinely about something. And as artists like Radiohead and Flaming Lips (both of whom have been profoundly influenced by Dark Side) can attest, the album’s music and lyrics still hold up beautifully today. Here are 10 things you might not know about Dark Side of the Moon.

Reviews about Pink Floyd - Floyds Of London (1):
Wasn't expecting much from this pressing. Put it on and it sounds really good. Wouldn't call it amazing but it sounds like a radio broadcast, which it was. Great for fans of Pink Floyd.
