Plastic Surgery Disasters is the second full-length album released by punk rock band Dead Kennedys. Recorded in San Francisco during June 1982, it was produced by the band's guitarist East Bay Ray and punk record producer Thom Wilson. The album is darker and more hardcore-influenced than their debut album Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables as a result of the band trying to expand on the sound and mood they had achieved with their 1980 single "Holiday in Cambodia"

Plastic Surgery Disasters if the Dead Kennedys' second full length album and the release that established the band as one of the world's most contorversial underground acts. Tracks: "Buzzbomb," "Bleed For," "Religious Vomit" and more! Track Listings. Its hardcore but not formulated, generic thrash (they do plenty of that on In God We Trust Inc and Bedtime For Democracy). Behind the noise their are hints of psychedelic, rockabilly, surf, jazz, and even funk. But over all, I'd call it hardcore mixed with classic punk.

Sound - 10 Very poliical and layered with sarcasm The Dead Kennedys released their third album Plastic Surgery Disasters in 1982 after the EP In God We Trust Inc. in 1981, however they were re-released together after the bands demise in '88 as a compilation album. The album sound is totally their own. Fast and witty with subtleties in effects and a distinct approach. East Bay Ray charges from catchy melodies to chords and usally vocal based soloing. As any "Punk" record should it got a feeling that may never be matched again
