Jack White - Lazaretto (Live At Third Man Records) mp3 album
Lazaretto is the second studio album by Jack White. It was released on June 10, 2014, through White's own label Third Man Records in association with XL Recordings and Columbia Records. Lazaretto was partly inspired by a collection of short stories, poems, and plays White wrote when he was 19 years old and rediscovered years later in his attic
The recording was attended by 'Ultra Ticket Holders' who witnessed the live recording (along with a short live show) in the Third Man Records 'Blue Room' concert space. The record sleeve was made with photos taken at the live concert.
The solo discography of American rock musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer Jack White consists of three studio albums, three live albums, one compilation album, and fifteen singles. Prior to releasing solo records, White recorded albums with several bands, including the White Stripes, the Raconteurs, and the Dead Weather. Throughout his career, he has also produced the works of many other artists and made guest appearances on albums.
In a rare, lengthy and wide-ranging interview at his Third Man Records complex in Nashville, Jack White sits down with Brian McCollum to discuss everything from his new album, "Lazaretto," to his creative freedom at Third Man. He's got poignant reflections (his late teenage years in Detroit), pointed pronouncements ("entitlement is sort of the disease of modern times") and even a few marketing ideas for Detroit foodstuffs. I'm attacking them mentally the exact same way as recording live to acetate in front of a crowd here. The production ideas are still the same. It's just a bigger living room, a bigger garage, a bigger attic.

Lazaretto" - released on White's Third Man Records label through Columbia Records - also sets the record for the largest sales week for a vinyl album since SoundScan began tracking sales in 1991. The vinyl LP sold 40,000 copies - easily enough to debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Vinyl Albums chart. It beats the debut of Pearl Jam's "Vitalogy," which sold 34,000 vinyl LPs in its first week, back in 1994. Notably, "Vitalogy" was issued on vinyl first, two.
