Kitaro - Towards The West mp3 album
Towards The West (CD, Album). Towards The West (Cass, Album, Unofficial). MG Records (2). MG 0917.
This album was Kitaro’s first studio recording in two years, released in February 1986. Kitaro’s album Light of the Spirit was soon to follow one year later with the Grammy award for the single track The Field. The music Kitaro composed for this album was inspired by a significant change in direction toward the west while the NHK crew were filming for the Silk Road Journey television series. The music also reflects the hardships and peace they encountered along the way, their connection without time, and their seemingly auspicious endless journey. EAC extraction logfile from 4. Kitaro - Towards The West - CD (Polydor West Germany829 006-2 1986). This album would be an excellent introduction to Kitaro for (female?) music listeners that appreciate emotional aspects and accept even sentimental pompousness. Who knows, that might also be a step towards Symphonic Prog with similar ingredients, in your girlfriend's music taste! But for a seasoned prog listener this music, as Kitaro in general, may wear out its power pretty soon.
