Brasilia - River Wide mp3 album
The recorded sound quality here could have more presence. The Chesky label could have really enhanced the sound of this group. But, the sound as rendered is still pretty good. A wonderfully rhythmic, melodic album, excellently produced, and featuring Pamela Driggs's beautiful voice. If you like Brazilian rhythms, or if you're an old Astrud Gilberto fan like me, you owe it to yourself to seek out this extremely enjoyable album. Why this album is out of print (as of this writing) is beyond me. It is a golden gem, with the standout cuts being almost too numerous to mention; Angel Voices, River Wide, and Sanctuary among them.
