Dogs Of War - Dogs Of War mp3 album

Dogs of War is the twelfth studio album by the heavy metal band Saxon, released in 1995. It is the last album with Graham Oliver on guitar. All lyrics written by Byford/Glockler; all music composed by Saxon. A 2006 CD re-issue on SPV/Steamhammer Records includes two bonus live tracks: "The Great White Buffalo" and "Denim and Leather" recorded in 1995. Biff Byford - vocals. Graham Oliver - guitars (don't play). Paul Quinn - guitars. Nibbs Carter - bass guitar. Nigel Glockler - drums.

Dogs of War may refer to: The dogs of war (phrase), a phrase from William Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. The Dogs of War (novel), a 1974 novel by Frederick Forsyth. Dogs of War (comics), a 1994 series published by Defiant. The Dogs of War (comics), a supervillain duo. Dogs of War (album), an album by Saxon. Dogs of War", a song by Saxon, from the eponymous album, Dogs of War. "The Dogs of War" (song), a song by Pink Floyd.

And yet, wouldn't you know, the old Barnsley bums managed just that with 1995's absolutely massive-sounding Dogs of War, an album few imagined Saxon capable of, following years of embarrassing creative misfires.

Dogs of war and men of hate With no cause, we don’t discriminate Discovery is to be disowned Our currency is flesh and bone Hell opened up and put on sale Gather round and haggle For hard cash we will lie and deceive Even our Masters don’t know the webs we weave. One world, it’s a battleground One world, and we will smash it down One world.

The Dogs of War, also known as the Regiments of Renown, is a polite catch-all term to generally describe Mercenaries from all across the known World, fighting on behalf of anyone willing to pay their exorbitant prices. They are drawn to places where fortunes can be won by ruthless adventures

The "Dogs Of War" are corrupt politicians who who use their military might. It is probably a reference to United States president Ronald Reagan, who was dealing in covert war with countries like Nicaragua contras and others. Vanilla Fudge drummer Carmine Appice played drums on this track. After recording their 1983 album The Final Cut, Pink Floyd could no longer function as a cohesive unit - the relationship between David Gilmour and Roger Waters was particularly acrimonious.
