And there, in orts of blackened bone, The widowed Trojan beauties lie, And Simois babbles over stone And waps and gurgles to the sky. Once there were merry days in Troy, Her chimneys smoked with cooking meals, The passing chariots did annoy The sunning housewives at their wheels. In many a glittering house of glass The Atlanteans wandered there; The paleness of their faces was Like ivory, so pale they were. And hushed they were, no noise of words In those bright cities ever rang; Only their thoughts, like golden birds, About their chambers thrilled and sang. In towers and rooms and golden courts The shadowy coral lifts her sprays; The scrawl hath gorged her broken orts, The shark doth haunt her hidden ways. But, at the falling of the tide, The golden birds still sing and gleam, The Atlanteans have not died, Immortal things still give us dream.

Orts, Scraps, and Fragments book. Orts, Scraps, and Fragments contends that the social constructs of religion, marriage, and communication fail to provide the meaning and interpersonal connection that society invests in them. Instead, Woolf's characters struggle within these constructs and ultimately find themselves disillusioned, unfulfilled, and isolated.

Scraps, orts and fragments, are we, also, that? They identify their own motley, confused, and anxious selves with the serial snatches of tunes, and in this identification find a sense of calm. They crashed; solved; united, Woolf writes of the villagers’ communal listening. In To the Lighthouse (1927), the philosophy student Charles Tansley feels painfully baffled in the home of his professor, his perception all in scraps and fragments. Includes first printing of Woolf's short story The Lady in the Looking Glass.

The debut album of the band self-titled, has twelve more songs an instrumental introduction. This album combines riffs and elaborate structures with harmonies and unexpected and original twists on some letters and varied and maintained themes that result in a powerful and entertaining drive. The album is co-produced by Tony Hernando and Roland Grapow, the latter who is also responsible for mixing and mastering in his Grapow Studios in Slovakia giving the album a very modern sound with a strong batteries and sharp and defined guitars.
