New Wave - Fantasy mp3 album

New Wave music meant a lot of things in the late 1970s. It encompassed pretty much everything that followed the punk movement that still served as an alternative to mainstream pop and rock. There was power-pop, neo-psychedelia, acid-punk, art rock and lots and lots of keyboards

World of Fantasy is the twelfth studio album by the Japanese electronica band Capsule, released on May 25, 2011, in Japan. The album was originally due for release with the title of Killer Wave. After the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake occurred on March 11, 2011, Yasutaka Nakata announced that the album's release (which was previously announced as March 23, 2011) was postponed and due for release at an unknown date for cover art rework and renaming. Killer Wave" was then considered a "working title"

The ‘Double Fantasy’ album, released three weeks before John Lennon’s passing, has become something of a requiem for John’s 40 years on earth. Published on. January 10, 2019. Throughout the record, it is easy to hear how Yoko’s songs had become so inspiring to New York’s new wave scene. John himself recognised this when he heard the B-52’s’ ‘Rock Lobster,’ which he particularly felt was inspired by Yoko’s records. The album got its title after John had reached Bermuda on his sailing adventure, where, at a botanical garden, he saw the name of a freesia on a small plaque. Double Fantasy sums up this record perfectly. In the UK the record made N. on the album charts, and stayed there for seven weeks, before topping the charts for two weeks from 7 February 1981

New wave finally died out in 1984, when established artists began to make professional videos and a new crop of guitar-oriented bands like the Smiths and . emerged to capture the attention of college-radio and underground rock fans. Nevertheless, new wave proved more influential than many of its critics would have suspected, as the mid-'90s were dominated by bands - from Blur to Weezer - that were raised on the music.
