Barbara Dane and The Chambers Brothers - Barbara Dane And The Chambers Brothers mp3 album

The Chambers Brothers are an American soul band, best known for their eleven-minute 1968 hit "Time Has Come Today". The group was part of the wave of new music that integrated American blues and gospel traditions with modern psychedelic and rock elements. Their music has been kept alive through heavy use in film soundtracks. Originally from Carthage, Mississippi, the Chambers Brothers first honed their skills as members of the choir in their Baptist church.

1st Sept 2017:Today I bought this 1966 issue. Playing it with my stereo cartridge, I hear throughout both sides that familiar, dreaded surface noise which I usually associate with the stereo cartridge/pre-1967 mono grooves mis-match. The sides of the stereo stylus are picking up dead info from the upper areas of the mono groove. Otoh, records in mono but issued after 1967 play just fine on my TT, no extra scraping/swooshing noise. So, can anyone confirm that #FA 2468 is indeed in mono??? To me it sounds mono, although open, airy.
