Free - My Brother Jake mp3 album

Highway is the fourth studio album by English rock band Free. It was recorded extremely quickly in September 1970 following the band's success at the Isle of Wight Festival but with an attitude of relaxation, the band having achieved worldwide success with their previous album Fire and Water (26 June 1970) and the single "All Right Now". It is a low-key and introspective album compared with its predecessors.

He goes out He don't have no doubt He don't have to know What the world's about. I said Jake, Now won't you wait, What's got into you, Your candle is burning The wheels are turning What you gonna do? My brother Jake, Wont you start again Try makin' some friends Jake, it's not too late To start again, by making amends. He goes out He don't have no doubt He don't have to know What the world's about. I said Jake, Now won't you.

In early 1973 the band released Heartbreaker, which was recorded primarily by Rodgers and Kirke due to Fraser's departure and Kossoff's drug problems. The band broke up permanently later in 1973, with Rodgers and Kirke going on to form Bad Company later that year. 2010's The Very Best of Free & Bad Company Featuring Paul Rodgers, which also features tracks by Bad Company, peaked at number 10 on the UK Albums Chart and was certified silver by the BPI. The band reached the top ten on the UK Singles Chart again in 1991, with a remixed version of "All Right Now" which peaked at number 8. Highway (Free album).
