The Wedding Present - Nobody's Twisting Your Arm mp3 album

George Best is the debut album by The Wedding Present. It was released in October 1987 by their own record company, Reception Records. After self-releasing five singles on Reception Records label, the band turned to recording their first album, continuing their collaboration with producer Chris Allison, who had produced their previous single, "My Favourite Dress". The album's somewhat tinny sound reflects the low recording budget. All later CD re-releases of George Best, starting with the 1997 re-release by Canadian reissue label Pearls from the Past, added all tracks of 1988 singles "Nobody's Twisting Your Arm" and "Why Are You Being So Reasonable Now?", including a cover of The Beatles' "Getting Better". By the time of the latter single's release, drummer Shaun Charman had been fired and replaced by Simon Smith.

Nobody's Twisting Your Arm. And when I called your house I'm sure your sister thought that I was somebody else I heard a laugh down the phone And then the answer came that you weren't at home (ohh). You know I never go there Because I hate to dance and you really don't care Why don't you go on your own? How can you lie there and say that you'll come back alone? (ohh). Oh well that's fine I don't care anymore Nobody's twisting your arm Here's the key There's the door. Before we go back in What about those secret smiles that you were giving to him? Oh just "somebody you met" Well I go out of my way and this is the thanks that I get! (ahh). I'm just a slave to your greed I'm not the kind of boyfriend that you need But if you'd like me to go You'll get no trouble from me just so long as I know (ohh). My Favourite Dress Lyrics. Sometimes these words just don't have to be said I know how you both feel, the heart can rule the head Jealousy is an essential part of love The hurting here below and the emptiness above. There's always something left behind Never mind. The tender caresses that bring out the man I can't still be drunk at five Oh, I guess I surely can Slowly your beauty is eaten away By the scent of someone else in the blanket where we lay. There's always something left behind Maybe next time. My Favourite Dress" Track Info. George Best The Wedding Present. 15. Nobody’s Twisting Your Arm. 16. Nothing Comes Easy.

Oh you don't have to tell me where you've been It's bad enough I know you were with him What made you want to take him there? What made you think I wouldn't care? And did you walk from the town into the heather To where we used to lie down when we were together No, I walked by, I sort of knew I don't know why, maybe I'll ask you! You don't have to tell me lies today I saw him sat there waiting anyway But what made you want to take him there? What made you think I wouldn't care?
