Blow Your Mind! Album. Ship of Ghosts Lyrics. Wicked Lady - Ship of Ghosts Lyrics. Album: Blow Your Mind! Heyo! SONGLYRICS just got interactive. In the grey light of the mornin' it's not easy to see And the people shake their heads at you if they want to agree The destruction that is all around makes you realise the face you wore this mornin' was just a disguise. The pressure from the living dead can make you insane Cold fingers of this nightmare will enter your brain You must leave the ones you care about and walk to the shore The ship will come to carry you to a place you've been before

However, Wicked Lady never came within a whisper of the stratospheric status attained by Cream, or the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Kissing Spell reissued the album in 1991. Weaver next teamed with classically-trained keyboardist Dave "Doc" Wadley - who'd worked with a pre-Sabbath Tony Iommi - in the Mind Doctors.

Wicked Lady remains one of the most overlooked bands from the early 1970s UK underground. They never issued any album or single in their time. That’s probably part of the reason for remaining unknown for so long. They are one of the heaviest biker bands you have ever heard. When we started Wicked Lady there was no heavy rock scene in middle England. There was Dark of course and one or two others but none had the raw power we did. Most bands were playing rock and roll and blues covers. What bands were you a member of as a youth and what types of music did you play? My first real band was a cover band but I was sacked by the manager, he said I didn’t fit in (he was right). The bass player and drummer walked out with me and we became Wicked Lady. What does the name Wicked Lady refer to in the context of the band name?

This album is exactly what Wicked Lady intended. It’s not an album with a producer providing input or a record company executive telling what the band needs to have a hit. It’s three musicians just playing as they like into a four-track. Both this album and the follow-up of 1972 recordings with a new bassist were reissued with new album covers which are different from the ones here on MMA.

In Your Mind is the fourth solo studio album by Bryan Ferry, the former lead vocalist for Roxy Music. It was his first solo album consisting entirely of original songs: the first two had been cover albums, the second concluding with an original song, the third a collection of B-side and EP material consisting of cover versions. As Ferry's first solo all-original LP effort, released after Roxy Music went on a four-year hiatus, it was supported by an extensive tour.

Reviews about Wicked Lady - Blow Your Mind! (3):
So this is not a bootleg? I just got my hands on a copy but the quality is horrible "Ships Of Ghosts" is aprox 3 minutes shorter (???) and there is the sound of a WindowsXP-Error on it around 8:50 into the song. Well, then again the rip I was handed might be just shitty - I mean it states that the record was eve "remastered"! Any opinions would be highly appreciated, thanks!
Thats a shitty rip. Not on the LP. Pretty good sounding overall.
That's hilarious. If it was a mp3 rip, yeah the XP error probably is from the computer they were using to rip the vinyl by the guy who did it, not the original vinyl but I'm not 100% sure. If it's Xotic Mind, that's the Subliminal Sounds guy, I don't think it is a bootleg. I'd just get the Guerssen, it's supposed to get repressed soon.
