Demonocracy is Job for a Cowboy’s third full-length album, and once again offers an increasingly mature and solid album. However, despite this, the band is plagued with unoriginality in a genre which is slowly becoming stale. Do not be fooled, Demonocracy will in no way offer revolutionary music. There is no denying that guitarists Al Glassman and Tony Sannicandro are adept at playing their instruments. They offer technical riffs, reminiscent of many modern Technical Death Metal bands today

On Job for a Cowboy’s third album, Demonocracy, the Arizona death-metal purveyors favor a no-fuss, no-muss approach to their brutal assault. Songs like "Children of Deceit" and "Tongueless and Bound" burst forth with complex rhythmic tangles, twisting their metallic riffage with Jonny Davy's gulping, doom-laden vocals. It’s only on the final song, "Tarnished Gluttony," that the band slow their stride, turning their ruthless attack into a smoldering heavy metal churn. Demonocracy Job for a Cowboy.

Job for a cowboy: Demonocracy. Looking back at their career thus far, it’s definitely been an upwards trajectory for Job For A Cowboy. It’s interesting in many ways that an American band like JFAC have drifted toward this slightly European sound, which is itself characterised by a surprising drift toward an Americanised influence.
