Mad Caddies - Punk Rocksteady mp3 album

The brand new full length Punk Rocksteady from The Mad Caddies, gets put through Stevo's Car Test.

That’s not me devaluing the songs, no. I think that’s more of a rational valuation of digital music. Charging as much for digital as you would a cd is highway robbery and we punkers have been getting screwed over so much by the pros over the years that we just plain enjoy being ripped off. Punk Rocksteady seems like a cd that could be important to music. Here’s to overwhelming amounts of importance.

The Mad Caddies are at a point in their career where they can do whatever the hell they want and have proven that they are the King Midas of Fat Wreck Chords. Everything they touch turns to gold and their new album Punk Rocksteady is all the proof you need. The idea of converting punk songs into reggae tunes had been discussed for some time now and it has finally come to fruition with 12 wide-ranging tracks that were handpicked by Fat Mike and the band

The Mad Caddies (or the Caddies) are a ska punk band from Solvang, California. The band formed in 1995 and has released seven full-length albums, one live album, and two EPs. The Mad Caddies sound has influences from broad ranging genres including ska (especially ska 3rd wave), punk rock, hardcore punk, reggae, dixieland jazz, Latin music, polka, even cowpunk ("Crew Cut Chuck") and sea shanties ("Weird Beard").

Released June 15, 2018. Punk Rocksteady Tracklist.

Ska-punk vets Mad Caddies teamed with NOFX’s Fat Mike for a new album called Punk Rocksteady, where they recorded reggae, ska, and/or dancehall covers of 12 punk songs, hand-picked by Fat Mike, who produced the record. The songs include Misfits’ Some Kind of Hate, the Descendents’ Jean Is Dead, Against Me!’s Sink, Florida, Sink, Bad Religion’s Sorrow, and Green Day’s She, the latter of which premieres in this post. It’s She like you’ve never heard it before, and you can hear it for yourself below

Purestone

Did anyone else pre-order the colored vinyl from fat, and was sent black vinyl??
Samowar
In the order confirmation e-mail you received after your purchase, the colored vinyl Lp is mentioned if you have really ordered it. So it can be possible to prove that you didn't order the black vinyl Lp.
Zuser
I provided photo evidence of my black vinyl version and they refused to correct the issue.
Scream_I LOVE YOU
I did! And they said I ordered black, which I did not!

Not for this Mad Caddies album (I preordered it on Kingsroad Merch in Europe and I cross the fingers and hope that I received what I paid for, the colored one. I check this afternoon when I'll get my parcel) but for a few albums Fat sent me black vinyl Lps instead of colored vinyl Lps. Because there's none outer difference between the black vinyl Lps and the colored ones. I don't know how they do to know which are the black and which are the colored ones. Except for the last time because the Lp was sold out, Fat sent me the colored vinyl after I sent some photos proving their mistake.EDIT: Received yesterday and this is the colored vinyl. Great!

FYI for anyone that pre-ordered the colored vinyl from Fat Wreck website, they had a delay with the manufacturer. I emailed them and they said they received them yesterday and will be shipping today.
