Jethro Tull - Nothing Is Easy: Live At The Isle Of Wight 1970 mp3 album
Nothing Is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 is a live album by Jethro Tull, released on 2 November 2004. It was recorded on the fifth and last day of the Isle of Wight Festival 1970, where Jethro Tull were second on the bill between The Moody Blues and Jimi Hendrix. My Sunday Feeling" – 5:22. My God" – 7:33 (with flute solo) ) "To Cry You a Song" – 5:42. Bourée" (instrumental) – 4:36.
Great live set from, obviously, the Isle of Wright Festival 1970. A nice selection from each of their previous three studio albums, plus the real gem for m. .an intense performance of My God which was to come on the forthcoming Aqualung album. What I donot understand though is why it took more than thirty years to release the live performance of the Tull at the Isle of Whight. How happy would have been the million of fans to get this in those ancient days.
Dramatic Elaborate Theatrical Cerebral Earnest Quirky Exuberant Indulgent Organic Outrageous. Imagination Mischief Playful. This release is a bit like stepping into a time warp - before they were a folk-rock band and before they were a progressive rock or art rock band, Jethro Tull were pretty much a loud rock & roll band working from a blues base, with a few elements of jazz and folk thrown in, and that's mostly what you've.

In 1970 Jethro Tull played the Isle Of Wight Festival in front of 600,000 people. Earlier that year they had released their third album, Benefit, which had seen the introduction of a full time keyboard player to the band's line up. The set was drawn from across the three albums with popular tracks such as My Sunday Feeling, Dharma For One, Bourée and Nothing Is Easy and also featured My God, a track that would appear on the following year's classic album Aqualung, probably their most famous release
Nothing Is Easy: Live At The Isle Of Wight 1970 is the sixth live album of Jethro Tull and was released in 2004. The line up on the album is Ian Anderson, Martin Barre, John Evan, Glenn Cornick and Clive Bunker. In the summer of 1970 it was held The Isle Of Wight Festival for five days, between 26 and 30 August, at East Afton Farm, in the Isle Of Wight, a small island of the south coast of England. It was the last of three consecutive festivals to take place in the island between 1968 and 1970. It was widely acknowledged as the biggest musical event of its time, bigger than Woodstock. Earlier that year they had released their third album, Benefit, which had seen the introduction of a full time keyboard player to the bands lineup. The set was drawn from across the three albums with popular tracks such as My Sunday Feeling, Dharma For One, Bourée and Nothing Is Easy and also featured My God, a track that would appear on the following years classic album Aqualung, probably their most famous release
