Boz Scaggs - Hollywood mp3 album

Hollywood" was from Boz's follow up to 1976's platinum selling "Silk Degrees". It featured background vocals by Carolyn Willis, Julia Tillman Waters and Myrna Matthews along a very upfront vibraphone line from Victor Feldman (Rhythm Heritage), a super funky guitar line from Ray Parker Jr. and the clean, sharp drumming of Jeff Porcaro (Toto). While considered by critics to be a full out R&B album, it did not do as well as "Silk Degrees". Hollywood" is the best thing on the album, yet I think that the single lacked something in the bottom end like "Lowdown" and "What Can I Say", both which had more than a few of the Philadelphia International touches to them. Boz feels that "Down Two Then Left" is his opus. He certainly did amazing vocals on every song and concedes that he spent a lot of time refining his vocal style especially for this release.

Boz Scaggs is the second studio album by American musician Boz Scaggs, released in 1969 by Atlantic Records. A stylistically diverse album, Boz Scaggs incorporates several genres, including Americana, blue-eyed soul, country, and rhythm and blues. The lyrics are about typical themes found in blues songs, such as love, regret, guilt, and loss. Scaggs recorded the album at Muscle Shoals Sound Studio with producer Jann Wenner, the co-founder of Rolling Stone magazine.

Hits! is a compilation album by Boz Scaggs, first released in 1980. It focuses primarily on material released in 1976 and 1980. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA. Elias deemed that the later release My Time: A Boz Scaggs Anthology makes Hits! completely redundant. Lowdown" (Boz Scaggs, David Paich) – 4:27.

Album Down Two Then Left. The way you read the crowd, the way you make them pay You stepped in and did the scene a whole new way No one would resist you now and even if they could Hollywood just never had it quite this good. I see your name in lights, I see them standing in line They send the cards and the wine Broadway here she comes You should be a natural.
