Mike Oldfield, Japan, The Who, Synth4ever, Small Faces - Sales Sampler mp3 album
This page is a discography for the musician Mike Oldfield. Although the introduction theme was used in The Exorcist, Tubular Bells (1973) was not a soundtrack album. Oldfield was commissioned to produce the music for NASA's The Space Movie in 1979; no soundtrack album was released at the time. However a DVD and CD soundtrack (though the CD content is just the audio track from the DVD, including voiceovers and sound effects) were issued in October 2015.
Michael Gordon Oldfield (born 15 May 1953) is an English t and composer. His work blends progressive rock with world, folk, classical, electronic, ambient, and new-age music. His biggest commercial success is the 1973 album Tubular Bells – which launched Virgin Records and became a hit in America after its opening was used as the theme for the film The Exorcist. He recorded the 1983 hit single "Moonlight Shadow" and a rendition of the Christmas piece "In Dulci Jubilo".
Small Faces is the eponymous second studio album by the Small Faces, released in 1967. The album was their first for Immediate Records after leaving Decca. It peaked at number 12 in the UK Album Chart. The band's debut album, released on Decca in 1966, is also entitled Small Faces.
An artist like no other. P I hope you will enjoy listening to the new album as much as I have enjoyed making it.
Mike Oldfield, the self-taught guitarist, t, composer, arranger, and producer, is chiefly remembered for his album-length "Tubular Bells" composition, an eerie, fascinating, and conceptual piece that did so much to set the tone for the movie The Exorcist

The best album is in my humble opinion Amarok. As Oldfield once said about it: Fans are different from success. It´s probably his least successful album of them all. Many fans says, however, that this album is the best one. If you just listen to the album one time, it´s not special. It needs a few listenings first. A good advice is to concentrate in a dark room with headphones. Oldfield said once : It´s probably the best thing I´ve done technically. The aim was to do the album with a minimum of computers. He was fed up since Virgin wanted him to do catchy tunes like moonlight shadow
