Exclusive discount for Prime members. Sample this album Artist (Sample). An overall great album with big name guest musicians. I'm knocking off one star because the production hasn't aged too well in the almost 30 years since this was released. It has a very 80s sheen to it.

Long Distance" is a song by American recording artist Brandy Norwood. It was written by Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence, Jeff Bhasker, and Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, and was co-produced by Jerkins and Mars for her fifth studio album Human (2008) based on a demo by Mars. It appears as the seventh track on the album on which it is interluded by a telephone conversation between two lovers (Brandy & an unidentified male voice).

The tender, yet exciting, string style that Peter White perpetuates found an early '90s Brazilian equivalent in Ricardo Silveira, whose lilting grooves on both acoustic and electric guitars makes the personal statements of this album a radio programmer's dream. While the title cut and the brassy and sassy "Marimba Dance" feature South American vocal chants and "Backlash" features a percussion groove indigenous to Silveira's homeland, most of the treats on this disc fall into the funky or romantic line of contemporary pop jazz.
