Shakespears Sister - Long Live The Queens! mp3 album

Long Live the Queens! (aka The Platinum Collection) is the second compilation album by UK pop-rock project Shakespears Sister. Long Live the Queens was released as part of Warner Bros. Records' Platinum Collection series, and thus is often referred to as such

is the third studio album released by British pop-rock music project Shakespears Sister, and the first to be released since the departure of Marcella Detroit in 1993. Originally scheduled for release in 1996, the album was shelved after the project's sole member, Siobhan Fahey, was dropped by London Records.

Shakespears Sister was conceived as a solo project by Siobhan Fahey, a onetime punk turned chart-pop singer who'd left the successful British girl-group Bananarama in 1988 due to disillusionment with the group's musical direction. Also in 2005, a second compilation album, Long Live the Queens!, collected various Shakespears Sister rarities, remixes and unreleased tracks. 2005 also saw the release of a second Fahey solo single, "Pulsatron", which charted slightly better than its predecessor, reaching No. 95 - to date, Fahey's final chart appearance. 2009–2012: Songs from the Red Room and Cosmic Dancer. Bitter Pill" and "Pulsatron" were originally intended to appear on Fahey's post-Shakespears Sister solo album, Bad Blood.

Live 1992 is an audio recording for BBC Radio of a European Shakespears Sister concert from 1992, featuring tracks from Sacred Heart and Hormonally Yours.

Track 5 fades out 40 seconds earlier than the original mix found on Run Silent (Revolution Remix) (FXR 119), Break My Heart (Extended Versions) (886 951-1) & Stay (loncd 314). Track 8 fades out 1:15 earlier than the original mix found on Hello (Turn Your Radio On) (loncd 330]. Track 9 is different to the original 'Black Widow Mix' found on Goodbye Cruel World (loncd 309) & Goodbye Cruel World (lonx 309). This mix is previously unreleased.

Reviews about Shakespears Sister - Long Live The Queens! (3):
Unfortunately, what seemed like a nice bundle of rarities turns out to be a mixed bag of odds and sods, basically. From mono recordings, to early fades and vinyl sourced audio, this set is worth no more to you than £3-4 tops. It's been lazily compiled, and from the same questionable talents which brought us the Bananarama re-issues on Rhino and The Twelve Inches Of Bananarama title, also part of the Warners Platinum catalogue. The extra fly in the ointment comes courtesy of the sleeve image; once a beautifully shot photograph of both Siobhan Fahey and Marcella Detroit, used on the sleeve to the Goodbye Cruel World single release. For this CD, someone saw fit to chop out Marcella Detroit entirely and blacken out the remainder of her body, much like a bitter ex who takes a pair of scissors to old wedding photos. An embarrassing state of affairs indeed. 4/10.

Track 3 is in mono on my copy and sounds terrible (check out the should-be-panned drum fill at 13-14 seconds). Can anyone confirm whether this error was ever picked up & corrected?
It does indeed sound terrible. The whole collection is a bit of a mess.
