Uncanny Valley is the third album from Australian electronic band Midnight Juggernauts. It was released on 14 June 2013 in Australia, and on later dates in June/July 2013 in other countries. After their previous tour, the band took a few years break where they returned to focus on various experimental audio-visual projects. Eventually they started writing/recording sessions in a converted church in the French Loire Valley

At catalogue number 20 Uncanny Valley extends its compilation-concept to 12 tracks spread over three records (or as a bundle if you prefer digital). Part 1 starts off in style with Art Of The Track by RVDS & K'Alexi Shelby. Part 2 sees the long awaited return of Jacob Korn whose Der Don is his first production for Uncanny Valley since his acclaimed album You & Me in 2012. With overlapping strings and thrilling beats it’s an epic dance floor banger and Jacob Korn at his best. Dresden’s Götterkreis and Steve Kasper put their focus on percussions and dub techniques.

The first release from Dresden's Uncanny Valley label is a showcase of four local talents of varying renown-Break SL and Jacob Korn are the best known, Cuthead and Thomas Frohlich less so-who all bring their own take on moody, downbeat house. Various Artists - Uncanny Valley 001 The first release from Dresden's Uncanny Valley label is a showcase of four local talents of varying renown-Break SL and Jacob Korn are the best known, Cuthead and Thomas Frohlich less so-who all bring their own take on moody, downbeat house. With all four cuts running between 110 and 120 BPM, heavy on acoustic samples and classic drum machines, it's a familiar sound in contemporary house, but all four cuts are really rather excellent.
