Just because I’m not copying every one of my former classmates and moving off to New York City the second I graduate doesn’t mean I’m never going to end up there. Maybe I need to find myself here, at home, before I pursue a life there. Just because it takes me longer to achieve a goal doesn’t mean I’m going to give up. I may do things differently, but it’s my path, my life and there aren't any rules or guidelines. One day I’m going to take the world by storm. It may not be today or tomorrow, but it’s going to happen when I choose it to happen. Just because my path is different than yours doesn’t mean I’m lost.
Let’s say that they do a job that’s not good, or a job that they didn’t finish, or a job that was way late. The actions in total paint a portrait of Trump’s sprawling organization frequently failing to pay small businesses and individuals, then sometimes tying them up in court and other negotiations for years. In some cases, the Trump teams financially overpower and outlast much smaller opponents, draining their resources. Trump and Williams settled their case in 2015, and the terms of the deal are confidential, as is the case in dozens of other settlements between plaintiffs and Trump companies.
OR Just because I was mean to you, doesn’t mean you should be mean to m. . I never know whether to use it in the following sentence: Just because , (it) doesn’t mean . In other words, would you say, Just because I was mean to you, it doesn’t mean you should be mean to me. OR. Just because I was mean to you, doesn’t mean you should be mean to me. Just because I was mean to you, that doesn’t mean you should be mean to me. I hear people using the second variation all the time, but it seems that the third is preferable.

They just weren't paid equally. This type of gender pay gap in America isn't new. Though the Equal Pay Act, passed by Congress in 1963, mandates men and women be given equal pay for equal work, loopholes still allow women in the United States to be paid, on average, 20 percent less than men. If you believe you're being paid less than you should be because of your gender, race or another factor unrelated to work, these expert-vetted strategies could help you fight for the salary you deserve, whether you're in Hollywood, corporate America or elsewhere.
