Small Faces - Itchycoo Park 30. John Barry Orchestra - James Bond Theme. This is a very good compilation of 60s singles by artists from each side of the Atlantic. All the songs are the originals by the artists for whom these songs were hits in the 1960s, with a good selection of US pop and soul and British Invasion pop. The sound is excellent and the sequencing is good.

Johnny Bristol, Harvey Fuqua, Edwin Starr. You're The Best Thing.

Booker T. & the . s, Green Onions (1962) In the summer of 1962, a 17-year-old organ player named Booker T. Jones was messing around at Stax, where he, guitarist Steve Cropper, upright bassist Lewie Steinberg and drummer Al Jackson Jr. served as session musicians. When Stax president Jim Stewart hit the record button and released the instrumental Green Onions, one of the first multi-racial bands was born-as well as the studio’s first single. Displaying his maturation as a musician and visionary, this album is a staple in the musical history of the ‘60s. 53. The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Axis: Bold as Love (1967) On the heels of his stunning Are You Experienced?, the psychedelic guitarist of mind-bending talent returned with an album more grounded in his own writing.

Small Faces is the eponymous second studio album by the Small Faces, released in 1967. The album was their first for Immediate Records after leaving Decca. It peaked at number 12 in the UK Album Chart. The band's debut album, released on Decca in 1966, is also entitled Small Faces.

The fifth album from the Chicago-born pianist Andrew Hill catapulted him to the top tier of forward-looking jazz composers of the ’60s. As Ornette Coleman and John Coltrane pioneered jazz’s New Thing movement, loosening the shackles of long-established chord progressions, Hill’s tight-knit pieces played within them, drawing on post-bop, avant-garde, and the blues. There’s the plaintive country balladry of Sinful Heart, the proto-girl-group hearts and flowers of A Date With Jerry, and clap-along jump rope jams like You’re the One for Me.

Small Faces is the debut album of the Small Faces, released in May 1966 by Decca Records. It includes the hit singles "Whatcha Gonna Do About It" and "Sha-La-La-La-Lee". The album was well received by music critics and was popular with the public, rising to number 3 on the UK album chart remaining at the top for several weeks. The album was recorded at IBC Studios, Portland Place, London between June 1965 and February 1966. Glyn Johns was the studio engineer
