Originally featured on Lana Del Rey’s recent album Honeymoon, Music To Watch Boys To is the first Honeymoon cut to receive its own video since the release of the LP. With its swimming sequences and and clips of Lana lounging, today’s piece plays out more like footage of a dream-like, surreal vaction than a traditional pop music video. I like you a lot Puttin’ on my music while I’m watching the boys So I do what you want Singin’ soft grunge just to soak up the noise We’re ribbons on ice Playin’ their guitars, only one of my toys ‘Cause I like you a lot No holds barred, I’ve been sent to destroy, yeah. Pink flamingos always fascinated me I know what only the girls know Know what lies akin to me I see you’re goin’ So I play my music, watch you leave
Update, 9/30: If Lana Del Rey has proven anything with her Honeymoon album, it's that she's still the reigning queen of all things ethereal and dreamy-and her latest music video is no exception. The singer dropped the second video from Honeymoon today for "Music To Watch Boys To" and the visuals sync up perfectly to the track's airy tune.
