This is a list of the best-selling albums by year in the United States. Billboard magazine began publishing year-end lists for album sales in 1956. Until 1991, the Billboard album chart was based on a survey of representative retail outlets that determined a ranking, not a tally of actual sales. Weekly surveys and year-end charts by Billboard and other publications such as now defunct Cash Box magazine sometimes differed

The time in between the years of 1750 and 1900 has shaped the world as we know it, and subsequently the schools as well. The increase of scientific knowledge and technological discovery had a vast effect on society. Through science and technology more efficient ways of growing and creating food were devised, therefore solving the problem of scarcity of goods . Focusing on the years between 1750 and 1850, Benjamin Franklin stands out because of the influence he had on the American Revolution and his contributions to the American society.

Various other methods of compounding steam engines were adopted, and the practice became increasingly widespread; in the second half of the 19th century triple- or quadruple-expansion engines were being used in industry and marine propulsion. By this time also the conventional beam-type vertical engine adopted by Newcomen and retained by Watt began to be replaced by horizontal-cylinder designs.

Like The Rage of 1710, I first got this on cassette tape back in the '80s. These days it's not as playable as it used to be. So, I decided to get the CD version. The Sonata by Soler (one of the "extra" tracks on the CD) makes it a worthwhile addition. As for the first movement of Bach's Italian Concerto, the harpsichord sounds too "tinny" to me. I've heard better sounding harpsichords than that. To give one example -> Handel*, The City Of London Sinfonia*, John Rutter, Harry Bicket - The Handel Collection. And another example ->Bach* - Jory Vinikour - Goldberg Variations. The other "extra" track, the Concerto by Locatelli, is OK, in my opinion. Then I decided to get the vinyl version on eBay. Since it's in very good or near mint condition, I'm gonna keep that version. Vinyl lasts longer than cassette tapes, ya know. :-)
