The Eternal / Sound Dimention - Stars / African Beat mp3 album

The Eternal is the fifteenth and final studio album by American alternative rock band Sonic Youth, released on June 9, 2009 by Matador Records, their first on that label. It was their first studio album in three years (since Rather Ripped), making it the band's longest delay between studio albums. The album peaked at No. 18 on the Billboard 200 and was the band's highest charting album of their career in the United States and highest charting album since Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star (1994).

Eternal Sound Records.

The Eternal are Doom Metal, Gothic Metal band formed in Melbourne in mid-2003 by former members of doom metallers, Cryptal Darkness. The founders were Ryan Buesnel on drums; Chris Burton on guitar; James Hunt on bass guitar; Mark Kelson on guitar and lead vocals; and Chris Stevenson on keyboards. Late that year, they signed a two-album deal with Firebox. Records of Finland on the basis of their self-titled extended play. Their debut album for Firebox, The Sombre Light of Isolation, was released worldwide in June 2004. The album saw The Eternal experimenting more with the rock & eastern elements of their sound. Following the release of 'Under A New Sun' the band completed an Australian & New Zealand Tour. In 2011, the band enlisted second guitar player Brad Cook, a long time fixture in the Melbourne scene.

While not a universally praised piece of the Art Blakey discography, The African Beat is quite engaging. Yusef Lateef is the only horn player, featured on oboe, flute, tenor sax, cow horn, and thumb piano with Ahmed Abdul-Malik on bass, but trombonist Curtis Fuller is only heard playing tympani - it was that kind of session. The drum ensemble includes Chief Bey, along with five other percussionists on conboro, log, and bata drums with penny whistles, gongs, congas, and African maracas. This is reminiscent of Lateef's more exotic sessions from the same time period, but quite unlike other. Number of albums 12 albums registered. Latest albums releases. Vlad In Tears : Souls on Sale. Krashkarma : Paint the Devil.
