Jeff Rosenstock - Worry mp3 album

is the second solo album by Jeff Rosenstock. It was released by SideOneDummy Records on October 14, 2016. The album addresses themes including urban gentrification, economic inequality and police brutality in the United States. Its structure has been compared to both Abbey Road and Short Music for Short People. The album was recorded in April and May 2016 at a house in Stinson Beach, California. Much of the album was written shortly after the band's gear was stolen while on tour in 2015.

In certain circles, Jeff Rosenstock is one of the most important figures in modern punk, and with WORRY. he has made his magnum opus. Rosenstock wrote I Did Something Weird Last Night about his girlfriend at the time, who is now his wife; the album’s cover art is taken from their wedding photos. But at the time, he admits, I was preoccupied with how the magic would end/Because nothing intangible remains sustainable/Hope is a scheme. It ties into the worry that pervades every interaction on this record, whether it’s with peers, corporations, political causes, anything-if you actually give a shit, have expectations and get your hopes up, you’re going to get played for a sucker. But later on, he shouts WORRY.

An album so concise, detailed, conceptual, and just plain enjoyable. This is the kind of album that musicians could spend years on as their sole project and get it about half as right as Jeff does here. Worry opens with the Beatles-esque ballad We Begged 2 Explode, which perfectly bridges 2014’s We Cool" and this record. The song captures We Cool"’s worry of growing old, but not necessarily growing up. Losing touch with everyone who you cared about who sold out. The stunning thing is this track sums it all up better than the majority of the songs on that album

Jeff Rosenstock – WORRY. Former Bomb the Music Industry! front man's solo record is catchy, energetic, and full of hopelessness and doom. It can be overwhelming at first listen to have the album pinball around so quickly if you’re not expecting it, but it’s reflective of Rosenstock’s personality as a whole, and the connective tissue between each grows stronger with subsequent listens. is the capper on a whirlwind four years for Rosenstock as a solo musician, starting with 2012’s I Look Like Shit demos collection, continuing with 2013’s Summer EP, and breaking wide with last year’s We Cool?. At the same time, WORRY.

Jeff Rosenstock comes with some built-in barriers. He sings in a nasal bleat that, when he’s really excited, turns into a strangulated squawk. He packs his songs with dinky drum machines and chintzy synths that whiz off in every direction. His gang-chant sing-alongs belong within the pop-punk tradition, but sometimes, they sound like cheap versions of Broadway musicals. He packs lots and lots of words into his songs, and those words plainly hint at big and messy ideas, at a kind of cleverness that can be relentless and oppressive.
