Nothing Gold Can Stay is the debut studio album by American rock band New Found Glory, released on March 18, 1999 through independent record label Eulogy Recordings. At the time, the band was then named "A New Found Glory", but later dropped the indefinite article "A" due to some fans struggling to find their records in stores

Fields of Gold is the second single released from Sting’s 1993 album Ten Summoner’s Tales. The single reached No. 16 on the UK Singles Chart, No. 23 on the Billboard Hot 100, and No. 2 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart. The song has probably got the most radio broadcast compared to Sting’s other songs. It is also known as his signature song, as most people recognize Sting by this song.
The quotation also recalls the period of time during which the boys’ friendship blossoms and solidifies-the idyllic interlude at the church. Like the gold of the poem, however, this idyll is tinged with sadness. Just as the gold in the poem vanishes, the idyll must end, and the boys must face the consequences of the murder.
