Re-Charge originally consisted of 3 DJ's from Breda (Holland) who appeared together on a few parties under the name Re-Charge. DJ Weirdo, founder of the Bad Vibes label happened to be on one of these parties and asked the boys to do a 12" for his label Bad Vibes Records. was their first 12". They later were booked for live performances in Germany and decided to do a follow-up: the High Energy . Returned in 2016 as a solo project.

UK, it was released in 1992 on Rough Justice (Just 21). It was later re-released by leading punk reissue label Captain Oi! in 2006 (Ahoy CD 291) with three bonus tracks. Recorded at The Stables/Rhythm Studios in Bidford on Avon and produced by the band and Paul Johnston, It was the only album to feature Joseph "Fish" Montanaro on drums, and also the last album produced by the Rough Justice label.
