That said, this album is a miracle in itself, the result of a big gamble on the part of Columbia Records, who put together Evans and Davis, who hadn't worked together since recording the critically admired but commercially unsuccessful sides that would later be issued as The Birth of the Cool. Columbia also allowed Evans to assemble a 19-piece band for the recordings, at a time when big bands were far out of fashion and also at a time when the resulting recordings could not be released until two years in the future (because of Davis' contractual obligations with Prestige).

Reviews about Miles Davis - Saturday Miles / Friday Miles (2):
Exellent
in this case "Saturday Miles" is a medley of Bitches Brew & Willie Nelson while "Sunday Miles" is Bitches Brew. These short edits are not the same as the other short edits issued under the same names on the 20 track Japanese Promo only LP from the mid 70's or the US Radio Promo 2 LP of Miles Davis At Fillmore."Saturday Miles" bears the text "suggested side"
Agantrius
can't possibly 1969 as concert wasn't recorded until june 1970
