The Sparks - Something Happened / Robin Red Breast mp3 album
Propaganda is the fourth album by the American rock group Sparks. The album followed its predecessor Kimono My House by half a year and was a successful album in the UK and US. It reached on the UK Album Chart(which would remain their second highest album chart position in the UK for nearly 43 years until pushed down into third place by Hippopotamus in 2017) and on the Billboard 200 (and remains their highest peak in that country).
Something Happened is Joseph Heller's second novel (published in 1974, thirteen years after Catch-22). Its main character and narrator is Bob Slocum, a businessman who engages in a stream of consciousness narrative about his job, his family, his childhood, his sexual escapades, and his own psyche
Robin redbreast and the nativity. One story says that it was getting chilly in the stable after Jesus was born because the fire was going out. Mary asked the gathered animals if they could help to keep the fire going, but none volunteered. Finally, a small, nondescript brown robin flew over to the fire and fluttered there, fanning the embers with its wings until the flames leapt up again. The red waistcoats actually belonged to the Bow Street Runners, precursors of the British professional police force. Regardless of who wore the waistcoats, when it became fashionable to send Christmas cards from the 1840s, red-breasted robins became associated with the Christmas post. This must, surely, have something to do with the tradition of kissing beneath it. Mistletoe bunches had to be generous because every time a kiss was claimed, you were supposed to pick off a berry.
This song is by Candice Night and appears on the album Reflections (2011) and on the album Starlight Starbright (2015). Robin red breast, looked down from her nestAnd saw the world from a different point of viewShe saw signs of spring, flowers and everythingLooked beautiful, golden and brand newBut hidden somewhere in the tall, green grassWere sharp and shiny shards of broken glassAnd she wondered about what she thought she knew.
