The 5th Dimension - The 5th Dimension Story mp3 album

Fifth Dimension is the third album by the American folk rock band the Byrds and was released in July 1966 on Columbia Records (see 1966 in music). Most of the album was recorded following the February 1966 departure of the band's principal songwriter Gene Clark. In an attempt to compensate for Clark's absence, guitarists Jim McGuinn and David Crosby stepped into the breach and increased their songwriting output

Earthbound (The 5th Dimension album). Earthbound is the twelfth album by American pop group The 5th Dimension, released in 1975 by ABC Records. It is the last album in the group's original line-up with Billy Davis, J. Marilyn McCoo, Florence LaRue Gordon, Lamonte McLemore and Ron Townson

The 5th Dimension is an American popular music vocal group, whose repertoire also includes R&B, Soul, and Jazz, best-known during the late 1960s and 1970s for popularizing hits of songwriters like Jimmy Webb, Laura Nyro, Burt Bacharach, Ashford & Simpson, and others, and helping to popularize "flower power" music with both white and black middle-class Americans.

One of the 5th Dimension's most fruitful relationships was with budding songwriter Laura Nyro. The group was constantly covering critical darlings and taking others' songs to new popular heights. That probably led to some of the snobbery surrounding the band. 5D covered wonderful Nyro tunes like "Stoned Soul Picnic," "Sweet Blindness," "Wedding Bell Blues," "Blowin' Away" and "Save the Country. The first became the title track of the band's third album, released in 1968. Don't ask what "surry down" means
