Bob Marley - Reggae On Broadway mp3 album
Reggae on Broadway: Best of Early Bob Marley.
Catch a Fire is the fifth studio album by the reggae band The Wailers, released in April 1973. It was their first album released by Island Records. After touring and recording in the United Kingdom with Johnny Nash, Nash's departure to the United States left the band without enough money to return home; they approached producer Chris Blackwell, who agreed to advance the Wailers money for an album and paid their fares back to Jamaica, where they recorded Catch a Fire
Reggae Music's legend Bob Marley birth name Robert Nesta Marley was born on February 6, 1945, in Nine Miles St. Anns Jamaica to Norval Sinclair Marley and Cedella Booker. This album sold platinum Gold in the USA and over 20 million worldwide. But during all this in 1976 Bob went and live with his mother in the USA after a shooting which almost cost us to lose the legend early in his recording career but returned in 1978 to Jamaica. Marley was also associated with groups such as "The Wailers, Wailers Band, The Upsetters which was owned by Lee Scratch Perry and I Threes".
Most of Bob Marley's early music was recorded with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, who together with Marley were the most prominent members of The Wailers. In 1972, The Wailers had their first hit outside Jamaica when Johnny Nash covered their song "Stir It Up", which became a . hit. The 1973 album Catch a Fire was released worldwide, and sold well. It was followed by Burnin', which included the song "I Shot the Sheriff", of which a cover version by Eric Clapton became a hit in 1974.
