Alice cooper killer great Album. One of the greatest rock albums of all time! It deserves all the praise its ever gotten plus a lot more. This is the grandiose, quintessential Alice Cooper album. While GB was not featured on the album, the other members still show their best on this album, especially with the title track and Unfinished Sweet. I love trash - christangrant. Another classic album by Mr. Alice Cooper. It's got many great hits on it. What's also great- he does Only My Heart Talking' with Steven Tyler, who is also a great singer and songwriter. I Love Alice! I love this album poison is a best track.
This is their best album in my opinion, all songs are great. Amazing album but the only song I dislike is man in a box. I just not into it sorry people but love hate love and sunshine are amazing. From top to bottom every song is listenable most are damn good. As a huge Alice in Chains fan, who would otherwise vote Dirt, Jar of Flies, or Tripod dog, I chose BGWTB because after listening to it (a good 6-7 times in the past 2 days! ) for the first time since its original release, I have realized what an incredible album this is. If it was released 1-2 years after the self-titled album, I bet most of you would be hard pressed not to put it somewhere in the top 3. But because of Layne Staley's death, fans just could not accept it, myself included
The best of Alice Cooper’s early-80s oddball new wave records, Special Forces finds him reinventing himself as a paramilitary drag queen, singing cinematic odes to gay cops (Prettiest Cop On The Block) and gay dictators (You’re A Movie), and then macho-ing up with pneumatic, gritty power-pop gems like You Look Good In Rags and th. The Alice Cooper Band’s first post-garbage psychedelia album remains one of their most iconic, from the spider eyes gatefold and the slithery death-glam band pose on the cover, to the creepy voodoo zombie metal of Black Juju and the harrowing, timeless goth-glam dirge of The Ballad Of Dwight Frye (oh yeah, Alice invented goth, too).

The Alice Cooper Band led by front man Vincent Damon Furnier would become one of the pioneering rock acts in terms of stage theatrics. No other band had ever performed shows using live snakes, guillotines, and fake blood to amuse and entertain rock audiences. The band paved the way for bands like Kiss with the use of makeup and stage props. The magazine at the time also ranked the Killer, album as the best of Alice Cooper’s career. Rolling Stone critic Lester Bangs compared the Alice Cooper track, Under My Wheels, to a classic style Stones song.
Track by track, this album is the best. But I find this difficult to say because Jar of Flies has a different sound and this album itself is amazing. The tracks on Jar of Flies go very well with each other, I believe better than Dirt. But Dirt is powerful and in your face. Top to bottom, it's amazing. Every other Alice album has at least one song I skip over when I listen to the whole thing. I'll put that on and listen straight through from Hollow to Choke.
