Daft Punk - Alive 1997 / Alive 2007 mp3 album

Alive 1997 is the first live album by French electronic music duo Daft Punk, released on 1 October 2001 by Virgin Records. It contains a 45-minute excerpt of a live performance recorded at Birmingham's Que Club on 8 November 1997. The album was generally positively received by critics, and peaked at number 25 on the French Albums Chart. The album was initially released online as part of the Daft Club service

Then I listened to Alive 2007, and I finally get it. This album puts you right there at Bercy Arena with a raging crowd, a pulsing sound, and an intense, almost flawless greatest hits mashup of songs from Daft's complete history up to that point. Thomas and Guy seamlessly blend all of their work together into an hour-long medley that you won't be able to stop bobbing your head to, guaranteed. I can't recommend this album enough to anyone. If you love dance music or Daft Punk this is one album you simply must own. My only regret is that I wasn't able to attend the live performance. I've just watched cellphone clips on YouTube, which in itself were amazing.

Alive 2007 is the second live album by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk, released on 19 November 2007 by Virgin Records.

Reviews about Daft Punk - Alive 1997 / Alive 2007 (27):

A must have. Does anyone knows how many copies have been produced?
in waiting
What's the difference between this and the "regular" box set?
X-MEN
There is no regular box set. You are thinking of just the Alive 2007 pressing. That only comes with the full bercy set, minus the encore. The encore is only in the box set.
JUST DO IT
Great box set, a MUST HAVE for any Daft Punk fan, What more could you ask for? A Alive 1997 GREY Vinyl, A Encore Vinyl and the fully Alive 2007 set. Plus a 50+ coffee table book with pictures taken by DJ Falcon. Like I said, a must have!
Jark
I purchased today (April 23) and downloaded immediately (from Canada). No issues were encountered. Likewise with the vinyl, all good things.
Legend 33
Doesn anyone has issue with Download link? Mine is not working and also customer service link is not correct.

I realized the other day that my copy is this Euro version, odd considering that I pre-ordered it from Amazon US!A thing worth noting is that along with it being cut very quietly, there's sometimes a difference is length between sides, causing differences in volume on each side, due to the nature of this being an album sequenced in a way that it's supposed to be on digital or CD, not lending itself perfectly to being split over 4 sides. For example, side C is about 14 minutes, while side D is about 22 minutes, meaning you'll have to turn up the volume a bit on your receiver on side D if you want the same volume as side C, due to the way that vinyl is cut.

I've got twice record 2of2 on alive 2007 :-( will contact amazon !
Welahza
yes but in €urope record companies don't give a sh*t , as opposed to the US where (as seen on internet forums) if there a faulty pressing you can contact directly warner, universal, etc to get the correct record
Fohuginn
It's probably Warner's fault anyway
Kagalkree
got to send back the WHOLE box because they can't manage sending me the missing disc, bastards!!!!! amazon says : fuck christmas;thanks

Having an issue with Alive 97 disc jumping. Anyone else having a problem? Already had it swapped over.
Foxanayn
chupathingy Did a replacement fix the skipping? I'm having the same problem on two different decks with two different cartridges. No, skips in same place. Also tried two different cartridges. Tried it on my dads cheap Steepletone player and didn't skip at all! Highly annoying!
Pad
i just started playing it and side one has jumped three times.

No centre hole on mine either. Looks nice with the single side etching but makes me not want to play the bonus disc.*EDIT* - see below...
Gnng
The sticker for the encore disc is stuck to the plastic sleeve and not the disc itself.
Eseve
Just got mine... the 12" single has a paper label with no hole - There are text in the middle of the label, I really don't know what they have been thinking when they made that label. The funny thing about this is, if you look at the picture that shows whats included, it actually looks like there isn't a hole on that one too... hmm?Anyone else got one of those?EDIT:Just like mikejohno said... "The sticker for the encore disc is stuck to the plastic sleeve and not the disc itself."I just looked at it and closed the box, but now I see... jesus christ hahah...Nothing to complain about here :)
Flash_back
The sticker for the encore disc is stuck to the plastic sleeve and not the disc itself.

Perilanim
any idea on how many pressings they'll be. I'm hoping it's quite limited ;)
Foiuost
Not the same LABEL (Rhino : USA - Canada) (Parlophone : Europe)
Snowskin
Yeah man, I only just realised it said Europe, they probably just have different code numbers.
Quttaro
I suppose there may be differences between this and the US release, we'll just have to wait and see when the US set comes out in a few days
