The Natural Four - I Thought You Were Mine mp3 album

Produced by Stephin Merritt. Album i. I Thought You Were My Boyfriend Lyrics  . always got ten guys on whom I can depend And if you're not mine, one less is nine; get wise I thought you were my boyfriend I thought you were my boyfriend. I Thought You Were My Boyfriend" Track Info.

The "were" one means that you thought a person was a something in the past but may not be now. The "are" one means you think they are something now. Toadie. Really, "I thought you are" doesn't make much sense. you use the "were". You could say "I thought you were going to the store," even if you believe that the person will go to the store in the future. You would use "are" for something like "I think you are going to the store".

4) A: I thought we will have a little more time. First of all, are they all grammatically correct? Secondly, would you please take a look at my analyses and see if they are correct. Sentences 1 and 3 are the only ones that sound natural to native speakers. Sentences 2 and 4 should start with "I think (that)" because they contain present tense forms (including 'will'). I thought (that)" and similar constructions in English, . "I knew (that)", are virtually always followed by a past tense form (including 'would'). Even those past tense forms can be interpreted as applying to present or future time. KennyLu "I thought you were Tom. "I originally thought your name was Tom, but it turned out to be Jake. Yes, but also "I originally thought your name was Tom, and I was right". In this meaning the stress can be placed on "thought": I THOUGHT you were Tom!

Reviews about The Natural Four - I Thought You Were Mine (8):
Oh dear I have this but with Eddie Bishop on the flip- side. Shame .. must be a bootleg?
impossible 1968 they formed in 1967 maybe the boola copy was earlier but this is deffo 1970 mecca (remix ) at its best
I am intrigued as to what is a Mecca (Remix) ?
It's not a remix, but an entirely different recording than the Boola Boola issue.
I think the occasional guesswork comes into play. I thought you were 1972. Stereo suggests later than 68 for sure.
This is a mono release, not stereo. definitely not '72.
where does the 1968 come from... the catalogue number suggests 1970
the boola boola original slower version is of course 1968
