Buddy Greco - Make Up Your Mind / What Now My Love mp3 album

What Now, My Love?" is the English title of a popular song whose original French version, "Et maintenant" (English: "And Now") was written in 1961 by composer Gilbert Bécaud and lyricist Pierre Delanoë. The recurring musical pattern in the background is the Boléro by Ravel. English lyrics and the title were written by Carl Sigman. Early English versions of the song were recorded by Jane Morgan, Shirley Bassey and Ben E. King.

With this album, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass settle into their hitmaking groove, the once strikingly eclectic elements of Dixieland, pop, rock, and mariachi becoming more smoothly integrated within Alpert's infectious "Ameriachi" blend. Pisano, who debuted as a composer on Going Places, comes up with a memorably whistleable song, "So What's New," and the rest of Alpert's songwriting brigade (Ervan Coleman, Julius Wechter, and Sol Lake) chime in with some lively, catchy tunes. There is also an assortment of pop, film, and Broadway standards of the day, all impeccably arranged by Alpert, whose production instincts grew sharper and surer with every release.

I know you haven't made your mind up yet But I will never do you wrong I've known it from the moment that we met No doubt in my mind where you belong. I'd go hungry; I'd go black and blue I'd go crawling down the avenue No, there's nothing that I wouldn't do To make you feel my love

What Now My Love is the sixth album by Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass, released in 1966. It remained at on the Billboard Album chart for nine weeks, the longest of any album released by the group. Two songs from the album found use as American TV show themes: "Brasilia" was used as the theme for the game show The Face Is Familiar, and "So What's New?" for Lloyd Thaxton's syndicated rock music program.
