List Rules Vote for each album based on its quality and status within the band's catalog. AC/DC is among the most iconic bands in rock and roll history. Which of AC/DC's 15 studio albums rank highest on this list is arguably dependent on whether you are a fan of Bon Scott or Brian Johnson. The truth is, both fit the AC/DC sound perfectly, and Bon would no doubt look down from on high with thumbs or horns raised. There is no doubt, however, that these albums contain some of the greatest AC/DC songs ever recorded.
AC/DC Albums Ranked Worst to Best. Ultimate Classic Rock. Critics are fond of saying that every AC/DC record sounds the same, but the following list of AC/DC Albums Ranked Worst to Best shows otherwise. AC/DC's catalog boasts early triumphs like 1975's High Voltage and . both of them as raw and flinty as anything in rock. They continued to tweak their sound, though, during sessions helmed by Mutt Lange (the aforementioned Highway to Hell) and Rick Rubin (1995's Ballbreaker). Today, some projects somehow fly completely under the radar – including 1981's For Those About to Rock – while 1977's Let There Be Rock is chock full of songs that remain concert staples
